In comparison to an 80AH gel battery, the following comparison values arise:
The weight drops from approx. 30 kg to approx. 12 kg. The usable energy increases from approx. 55AH to over 70AH per charging process.
The service life increases from approx. 400 charging cycles to more than 1,500 charging cycles.
The lithium battery 12V 80AH was constructed in such a way that it fits into the "normal" battery box of SELA vehicles, which otherwise could only be used with gel batteries 12V 60AH. In this combination, the use of the lithium battery ensures an operating time that is almost twice as long - with every single charge.
